My Story
Meet Lauren
I have always loved styling and mixing something old in the back of your wardrobe (I hate to throw anything away) with something new to build different looks.
This love saw me study at London College of Fashion and The Fashion Retail Academy, before finding my career as a Visual Merchandiser, creating different and unique shopping experiences that engages and excites the customer.
Working as a Visual Merchandiser for 13 years in the UK & Europe, designing stores and window displays for brands, I had a mind for retail and how customers like to shop.
In January 2019, my Daughter arrived and it all changed...
I wanted to carry on in fashion and retail but have the flexibility to spend time with my daughter, so I took the plunge and launched my own business…The Style Story was born.
I started by selling womenswear through Facebook and Instagram, and by March 2020 I had opened my first boutique in Sunninghill, Berkshire. In September 2022 I launched the website to broaden The Style Story’s reach to more fabulous customers.
